
The Polish company, ALVO GRUPA GASTROMETAL has just won a coveted Golden Aesculapius award for its operating theatre cladding systems for walls & ceilings with BiocoteŽ antimicrobial protection. The award for best products, in terms of outstanding advanced technological solutions and high level of quality, was presented at the 22nd edition of the SALMED International Medical Fair in Poznan. SALMED welcomed 260 exhibiting companies from 17 countries worldwide.
ALVO teamed up with BioCote Ltd and launched its range of BioCoteŽ protected wall and ceiling panels produced from stainless steel in Poland last Summer. In addition to the technical and economical aspects of this material, ALVO uses stainless steel to produce its range of cladding to help maintain the sterility required in operating theatres.
