Silver technology

Silver Technology - MRSA, E-coli, Legionella, Pseudomonas, Salmonella, Listeria, Camplobacter, S. aureus, Aspergillus nigerSilver, in the form of silver ions, is the active ingredient utilised in BioCote®. Silver is a natural antimicrobial and has been used for centuries for its abilities to aid preservation. Silver technology is also used extensively in the healthcare sector, for example in silver-coated wound dressings and catheters with dramatic reductions in infections.

BioCote’s silver technology has been tested by an independent laboratory to show its ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria, mould and fungi by up to 99.9% over a 24 hour period.
